Thank you so much for the warm welcome. She is 1 year old She is a terrific little girl.We have two great sons too, ages 13 and 6.
I just love everything about the AG girls.I have always been fond of baby dolls myself, so the Bitty's won my heart too.
Here is a website with pictures of a GOTZ doll like the one I won on Ebay: http://www.jansdollcloset.com/BittyBaby.html
Do you see the resemblence? I like to think of her as a Bitty cousin, lol. That seamstress has some pretty clothes on her too!
Thanks again, Anna

I just went and hunted up UBA Rose's website.I love it! But, no, I did not see this dolly there.I saw a Muffin Doll that looked sort of similar.
I have also been to GOTZ site.I think this baby is older than the ones listed there. She is marked 140/14 on the back of her neck if that helps.
Thanks everyone!

Personally I like the kind you have better then the bitty. Just enough of a difference for me to like it. I am not fond of Bitty at all. I do have the boy twin and find him adorable though. He is my son's "baby".

I've seen those Lil Punkin babies in stores and they look nearly identical to Bitty Baby but a little nicer, I think. Congrats and don't be afraid to collect for YOU at some point!

I recall buying the 'Lil Punkin dolls for my nieces several years ago. They were at Tuesday Morning in a fall sale very reasonably priced. The girls loved them and my sister-in-law was really happy with the quality of the dolls. Bitty clothes fit them. Hope this helps.

Thank you all so much for your help.Tuesday Morning is a great store.
I am really excited about the doll, but I also did not want to stray too far from Bitty.I still plan to buy a Bitty very soon.
These dolls are quite addictive... I can't really see a stopping place, lol.

Try this Gotz Dolls website. Is what you have a Muffin doll? Or it could be a Cookie doll? Scroll down until you see them.

Hmmm.... The brown eyes Muffin is similar, but it says she is only 13" tall.
This is the Baby I won- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...551325983&rd=1
Is'nt she adorable? I saw her the first day, and I watched her for the whole 7 days, just holding my breath.

Hi!
I think I might have the answer to your question about the Lil Pumpkin doll. I have pieced this information together after trying to find out more about the Little Sisters dolls a few years ago. Apparently they were actually made for a company called Dolls Unlimited. The company was started by a former executive at Pleasant Company. Before being purchased by Mattel, all the PC dolls were made by the Gotz. After Mattel bought the company they transfered manufacturing to China. This former executive started his own company (Dolls Unlimited) and had 18" dolls(Little Sisters) and 15" (My Lil Pumpkin) dolls made by Gotz. The dolls and their accessories were very high in quality and similar to PC, but his company went out of business in 1997 or 1998. They had a huge "going out of business" sale and was selling the dolls for 70% off. I think a great number of people bought the dolls in truck loads to sell them on Ebay. You used to see tons of the dolls and clothes on Ebay, but not much anymore. We have all of the Little Sister dolls and several outfits. The only thing we have for My Lil Pumpkin is the white wicker Moses basket. It is not as nice as the one Bitty had, but it was nice for the $ I got it for on Ebay. I hope this answers your question if it didn't put you to sleep!
